Meals on Wheels Service Opportunity (Passport Event)

Event Description:

The Office of Service Learning & Community Engagement is looking for student volunteers to assist with Meals on Wheels this semester. Student volunteers, along with a Hilbert faculty or staff member will travel by Hilbert vehicle into the Village of Hamburg to pick up the meals for Hilbert's Meals on Wheels route. You will deliver meals as a group to about 6-10 homebound seniors in the Hamburg area. Once you have delivered all the meals on your route, your group will head back to the village to drop-off the coolers and ovens the meals were in. You should arrive back on campus around 12:15pm. Opportunity is limited to 3 student volunteers. Meet in Lower Level Campus Center. Sign-up in advance in Handshake. Contact Rachel Wozniak at rwozniak@hilbert.edu with any questions.
