Event Description:

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 23, as Kick Back with the Hawks returns to kick off the academic year. This exciting campus tradition brings students together with Student Life, Athletics, and Campus Safety leadership for an evening of community building, fun, and school spirit. The event will begin in Swan Auditorium with a welcome to the new academic year, introductions to key campus leaders, recognition of our fall sports teams, and an overview of the evening’s activities. Following the program, students will head to the Quad to enjoy competitive games, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with classmates and campus partners. After the strong turnout and positive feedback from last year’s event, we look forward to welcoming students back for another memorable evening focused on building connections, fostering a respectful campus community, and celebrating Hawk pride.
