Join the Athletics Department and the Office of Student Life for an engaging and thought-provoking presentation with Lance Loya focused on one of the most in-demand skills in today’s workforce: the ability to work well with others. While often associated with athletics, this session is designed for all students looking to strengthen their personal and professional success. Recent workforce research continues to highlight teamwork and collaboration as top qualities employers seek in new hires. Yet many of us overestimate how effective we are as teammates—and underestimate the impact that strong teamwork can have on the culture and success of any group, classroom, or workplace. Through this interactive session, Lance will challenge participants to rethink what it truly means to be a good teammate and provide practical strategies that can be applied immediately in academic, campus, and professional settings.
